CommUNITY Picnic

What’s more fun than gathering with your friends, family and fellow Evanstonians to enjoy an afternoon in the park with free food, games, activities and entertainment?

The 2019 CommUNITY Picnic will take place on Sunday, August 25 from Noon-4 p.m. in Ingraham Park (west of the Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Avenue).

Admission is free. Bring the whole family for hours of entertainment, fun activities, free food and giveaways!

Kits, Cats And Kids Block Party

Evanston residents of all ages are invited to celebrate the back to school season at the ‘Kits, ‘Cats and Kids Block Party!

The 2019 Block Party is scheduled for Thursday, September 12  from 4:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The party will take place in Downtown Evanston (Sherman Avenue at Davis St.).

There will be games, arts and crafts, family-friendly activities filling the street, live music, the ETHS Marching Band and NU Marching Band, rousing pep rally-style speeches, and lots of dining options.
