Safer Foundation has partnered with STC to offer Tech training for individuals on parole or probation.

Automotive tech careers are in high demand. Thanks to a grant from the US Dept of Labor, they are offering FREE Automotive technology training to prepare successful participants to enter into a sector that has thousands of positions that need to be filled in the Chicago area.

3 Month program classes:
Intro to Automotive Technology
Electrical Systems and Power Accessories
Automotive Brakes
Steering and Suspension
Climate Control Systems

5 courses to prepare you for a job in the automotive field

Program benefits:
FREE Training
Public Transportation assistance
Industry standard certification
Get GED, if needed
*NEW LAW: program completion can help you get your record sealed faster

Program Eligibility:
Age 25 and over
Released from incarceration in the past 6 months
Currently on parole or probation
Social security card or State ID
